Lawrence Peterson and Larry Richards made this Air Force insignia to commemorate Veterans Day, as well as for Richards' having recently been hosted on the Honor Flight [https://www.honorflight.org/] to Washington, D.C. The Roman numerals MCMXLVII represent the number 1947. Woods are Purple Heart, Morado, Maple and Sapele, with a polyurethane spray gloss finish.
