Scroller Lawrence Peterson made this very decorative vase in Japanese style, perfect for dry flowers. The sides are ornamented with overlays with floral motifs. These overlays are very delicate and demand high precision and care from the scroller. The pattern is based in a very old English design.
In this design it is essential to use two contrasting wood colours to achieve a good result. The woods here are Paduk and Yellow Heart with an accent of Wenge.
