This solid walnut Entertainment Center was built for a SCA resident as a shop project. It was also featured in the March Spirit magazine. The client wanted to incorporate an electric fireplace which was a challenge. Woodchips member, Teo Oruc directed the project with help from members: Phil Menser, Scott Sturman and Anthony Zeppieri. The client is thrilled and was kind enough to invite the members in for drinks and sent thank you cards. The Center was constructed as three separate units (two side units and one middle unit). The two doors on the side units are 1/8 inch tempered glass. The project was constructed of black walnut. It was then finished with medium walnut Watco Danish Oil followed by several coats of Minwax wipe-on polyurethane.
