Interlocking Hearts

Here's another interesting project. Over 200 pieces of curly maple and bocote. Cut at compound angles and glued together to form circular shapes. These are then turned into six bowls. The bowls are sanded and finished, then cut in halves and re-glued together to form the interlocking heart shapes. A base is made to mount the assembly and you have a beautiful piece of handmade art.
