Pull Out Drawer for Work Van

Gary carries several tools in the back of his van. Getting at them was a "stretch". Solution: bring the tools to you via pull out drawer.

Made from 2 X 4 construction lumber, a 3/4" X 4 X 6 foot piece of black melamine, and some garage door hardware, the drawer extends 36" and carries about 400 lbs.

Not the prettiest project to leave the shop, but surprisingly functional. Some help was required to get the drawer into the van........thanks go to Phil M. and Scott S. for their boost.
