Daughter-in-law found shelving unit on internet and wanted two. These are made from solid cherry and stained a tinted cherry stain, and finished with wipe-on poly.
The front curved legs were made by cutting a jig from plywood and clamping 10 strips of 1/8" X 2" cherry in the jig. The mortise tool was utilized to make the square holes in the sides of the legs. The curved front shelves are dadoed into the legs.
