Unique trivets

Woodchipper Loy Hayes constructed these unique individual trivets consisting of a variety of woods; walnut, cherry, maple, etc. Notice that they each have a unique pattern and are of various sizes. Loy used dado cuts as well as simple blade cuts to achieve his patterns. (Note: click on the image and you will be able to then see additional photos of his project).
