Can A Buddha Be Puzzled?
The original artwork is hand cut and finished by Lawrence Peterson from various hardwoods in their natural grain and color. Maple, Rosewood, Hickory, Ash, Oak, Cedar, Yellow Heart, Canary, Teak, Mahogany, Padauk, and Walnut. The original is 16” x 21”
The puzzle pieces are made from a photo of the artwork, hand-drawn, and laser cut by Liberty Puzzles in Boulder, Colorado, crafted with quarter-inch maple plywood using the archival paper and inks, and contain intricate pieces, of which no two are alike. The puzzle is 12.75’ x 17” and contains 500 pieces.
The puzzles and original intarsia are created in support of the Tibetan Nyingma Mediation Centers and their various endeavors. 50 were ordered and donated.
