This is a very interesting and decorative pedestal table. It is ornamented with very stylish geometrical fretwork. The pattern is based in an old Italian design from the early 1900’s that was entirely reconstructed by Pedro López Rodríguez in Seville, Spain. His website for patterns is: http://www.finescrollsaw.com.
This pedestal table uses 3/8 and 1/4 inch wood. The 624 scroll saw cuts were done by Lawrence Peterson — about 40 hours of work. The woods are Oak, for the main body, Sapelle for the shelves and top, and a bit of Black Walnut also for the top. Finish is Watco Danish Oil under Watco Wipe-on Poly.
