Pedestal Stand

Another elegant pedestal stand for a pot or vase. The most complicated aspect of the project was the angled position of the sides and legs. The pattern is based on an old Italian design from the beginning of the early 1900s. The woods are 3/8 and 1/4 inch thickness and are Paduk, Mahogony, and Walnut with an oiling with Danish Oil. The final height is Height 44" and approx 13" width at the base. The pattern can be found at:

Yes, it took a long time.  Over 725 scroll saw cuts were required for this project.
