Humidor for Fine Cigars

Everyone should make one these. It is just a box, right? The box is made of mahogany and lined with Spanish Cedar for the cigars. The outside is trimmed with Cocobolo moulding at the base and maple splines at the corners. Inside, each cigar has an individual place and a battery powered ventilation/aeration system is in place to ensure uniformity throughout the case. The hinges and latch are of polished brass and a thermometer and relative humidity gauge complete the case.
The top or lid of the humidor is laser engraved with the makers initial and is constructed of a Redwood Burl, Walnut Burl and Cocobolo pieces in radiating pattern. The finish is tung oil and many coats of gloss polyurethane.
