The Fruit Bowl

Woodchipper Lawrence P recently completed an attractive and functional scroll saw project. The project uses 12mm thick Maple wood for the main structure. The rim, center and foot support are teak, ash and Brazilian walnut. Finish is a clear gloss polyurethane spray. Hand cut on a Hegner scroll saw from an Italian 18th century design. Took just a couple of days, but a fair amount of minor trimming to get the center fittings tight. Pattern is freely available.
